crank removal

im trying to strip down my 250cc wallaby (crusader) engine. the book says i need a tool to remove the crank and i cant see it for sale on the hoasts site. has anyone got one they can take a picture of so i can see how it works and if i can make one?

Hi Daniel, you dont need it, the crankshaft should come out like any other crank, if a little tight in the bearing a little heat will be sufficient. The tool is intended to push the crank out, but its not necessary. Vince

cheers vince i just went out and floged it and in came out so yea your right no tool needed good stuff
