Cleaning rear wheel hub

Does anybody know a good way to clean the finned rear wheel hub , I can bearly get my hands or brush in there , mine is a 1995 classic export that was bear aluminium that furrs up pretty fast after any rain , I know when I convert to alloy rims I can get it hydro blasted and then spray a clear protective coating but till then any tips would be great .

Phil, you need a wheel cleaning brush, try Frosts Auto Restoration site and look under cleaning. That'll give you an idea what you need!

Phosphoric Acid.Then jet washed.

When I do a clean I just give the hubs a spash of Gunk & blast of with hose pipe.
