After removing my Continental GT's tank I noticed a short (3-4") pink wire in black sleeving that wasn't connected to anything. Not being able to see anywhere obvious that it could connect to I'm assuming that it's unused. Does anyone know?

The pink wire is coming from the back of a multiplug that goes into a module under the tank.

Is the tip of it insulated and is it anywhere near the ECU module ?

If so it's probably the MIL diagnostic lead

It's supposed to be violet, not pink! ECU test wire.
