Hi
Can someone confirm that the mirrors on this model are 10mm diameter bolts and with both right & left hand thread? I presume the same as some of the Yamahas...

Yes the threads are 10mm L.H & R.H. great mirrors for looking at your elbows

Bar end mirrors work so much better and look nicer on an Electra,thats if you want to see what behind you rather than your own shoulder/arm.

SA - I have fuzzy elbows too
- I concur, the bar end is much more stable plus it looks pukka.
Incidentally this is not something new nor specific to RE, the martian antennae mirrors never worked well on any british bike, you've got a weight on the end of a springy steel rod mounted on a machine that vibrates between your legs. H sell blanking plugs for the holes.

If you think RE bars shake, you should see the lengths HD go to to stop their hands hurting, they fill the bars with lead shot, or something called a bar-snake... Most of the controls are poached off a Bandit, so they should be Suzuki, whatever, they're pretty generic.
