I've now returned to RE after more years than I care to remember. I've got myself a bright yellow 250 Continental Gannet Special. I remember Gander and Grey in the days when I had a 350cc Bullet and I'm now trying to find out as much as I can about the Special. Any help would be appreciated. I'll post some photographs once I arrive home with it in a couple of days.

This is an odd coincidence, this bike was recently notified to the Crusader Yahoo Group and almost at the same time one of the other members was asked by a visitor to a VMCC run about the Gannet Special he had also just acquired. And today, at the Classic Vehicle show in Stony Stratford one of my village neighbours approached me asking if I knew anything about the Gannet Specials (he is a welder and has done some work on my Interceptor) It turns out a pal of his recently bought one off Ebay and took it out to France. I'm seeing if I can find out more.
