Anybody re-silver headlamps?

I got a nice Lucas 700 motorcycle headlamp, but the silver reflector is a little yellowed. Is there somebody or somewhere that can re-silver it?

Hello Scalyback,
It seems that replating reflector doesn't give good results.
But at Paul Goff's site, he sells those kinds of, for not a great money...

Yes I had mine done at the local electroplaters and they did a superb job. Not cheap though.

If it is just yellowed and not corroded I'd suggest trying a bit of Goddards Dip on it. It brightens up silver a treat and is totally non abrasive.

It was yellowed, but having tried the goddards dip, it's gone all shiny again, YAY! (It's Kevin's Christmas present!)
