This sort of bike is not my cuppa tea but it's good to read that RE will not be moving into the ridiculous car-engine sized bikes and will be filling the middleweight niche. I'm sure I am not alone in being more than happy with smaller engines and if there is a halfway decent 350 available then thats great. I noted the RE boss said nothing under 250 or over 700 which conjours up images of past times. As the new 400cc engine is a new design, maybe a there's a smaller Conti or big twin coming sooner rather than later?

A little bird told me on the Royal Enfield stand at the recent Goodwood Revival that a Twin is planned for next year. The little bird was in a position to know...

I'm all for RE building a new range of bikes, but even by modern bike standards that thing is spectacularly ugly. Just my humble opinion of course,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've seen pics. It's probably India only (for now) and they will use it off road and as a street scrambler. They are already complaining the exhaust down pipe will hit rocks. New engine, chain has switched back to the left.
