The problem I with the Electra X gearbox being reluctant to go into neutral when stopped with the engine running has now been solved by adding STP gearbox treatment to the gearbox.
Gear changes are now much slicker and it just needs a touch of the toe or heel to change gear. (I fitted our hosts rocking gear lever a few months ago.)

I used a dollop of Black Moly Grease to similar effect.
