I joined the REOC when I got my Interceptor but rapidly found that they had no interest. According to the archives person they had no information on the Interceptor so natuarally I did not remain a member for long.
Any of you that are members might like to consider pressing them to buy these items so that the collections are kept intact and the information is available to you

No idea who you were dealing with, but the REOC has a wealth of info on the Interceptors available to its members?

There are 2 lots. Lot 1 - A run of Royal Enfield motorcycle sales brochures from 1925 to 197o and Lot 7 - The Important Reginald (Reg) Thomas archive of Royal Enfield ephemera, containing blue prints,

I can only tell you what I was told after making several phone calls. Maybe the person was too idle to go and see. I eventually got the information from our hosts and another well known dealer. All I can say is that there was no interest shown

Some of us are looking into this, I can't say more right now for obvious reasons. I can say this material has been known for quite a while and it's disappointing to see it go for auction without warning. As to "no information" you don't specify what it is you were asking so it's hard to tell if the information is actually available or not or you were talking to the wrong person, it's a bit harsh to blame the whole REOC!

I was after copies of publications -spare parts lists, owner’s manual, workshop manual sales literature and period road tests not technical advice. This was in early 2009 but it appears that things haven't changed as under Contact the Archivist/Librarian on their website it currently states ......Service temporarily suspended

It never crossed my mind to ask the REOC about manuals, and other documents, etc, I just the reviews and stuff off ebay.
I wonder what they have on the Meteor Minor?
