Anything I need to know before I replace my neutral finder with the blanking kit? I see a small "set screw" looking bolt that I don't recognize, with no instructions with the kit I thought I'd ask. Thanks, R.Tillery

If you remove the eccentric lever stop and bolt, will it fit in the hole left by the bolt? What size thread is it?

I spent years just praying for a neutral lever, and had to wait until my first iron barrel bullet to realise my dreams.
Pray tell... You must have discovered the secret of getting the gearbox into neutral from first gear, please split the info with us mere mortals.
ALTHOUGH... My redditch bike just clicks into neutral from first with just a little foot pressure. No, really, I can prove it with a video, no photoshop, Honest!

Unless you are fitting rear sets I would keep the neutral finder. If nothing else, RE are the only manufacturer to fit one (I think)
Scaly, the secret is clutch drag (or rather, lack of it)

Scalyback since I changed my clutch plates to the cork ones as suggested by Simon I've had no problems finding neutral either from 2nd or first gear the clutch is really sweet now

Did you say you mistook 6 days for two weeks?
Not the first time this has happened...
Steve T, you may be correct about changing to cork plates, I have not tried them, but I just click it into second and then (Little known golden secret...) Use the neutral finder lever, which works perfectly every time. I might need to adjust the cable a tad, but gear changing onTornado; my bullet; is really easy. It is just that there seems to be no 'click' for neutral, just a smooth movement from first, downwards into second!
