Hi
I'm looking for a solution regarding fitting a much smaller front mudguard to my bullet. The bike is being rebuild to a more Bobber style and the big front mudguard has to go. Hwat I need is some fixings for the mudguard at the top of the front fork lover part like it's done on the Thunderbird.
Does anyone have som idea to work on or can anyone tell me if the Thunderbirs forks will fitt my Bullet Classic -62? Prefereably I will keep the main tubes and replace only the lower part With Thunderbird forks. I am aware of that Thunderbirds have fitted disk brakes, but maybe the forks will fit anyway to my drumbrake?

Not another bobber!

I think what you are looking for is a complete set of forks off an early model Thunderbird, these had the TLS drum brake fitted for a little while before the disk brake came in. You won't be able to use the fork sliders off a Thunderbird on a set of '62 forks as there was a fork re-design for 1988 onwards.
