No. All good quality modern Oils and grease have all these built in its not really needed on a Enfield in my opinion. All multinational oil company's spend a fortune on R & R if its needed Im sure they would add it into the product. Of course this is just my opinion.

I'm with Paul here, there's an awful lot of money wasted on oil and fuel additives which do nothing at all. Much better to spend your money on regular oil changes IMHO
Having said that, I put a dollop of Black Moly in with the gearbox grease but only because I have a supply of it. I don't suppose it does much good.

Very slight topic shift..... So for engine rebuilds do any of you use any preparatory lubricants? On my last build I used "Redline" assembly lube between all moving parts (except bore and piston). Seemed to work ok but I would be interested in your thoughts / experience.

Again I just use plenty of squirts of good engine oil during assembly and squirt oil into all oil ways and nooks & cranys before a good kick over & first start up. Never had a problem.

Graphogen is excellent for engine rebuilds for bearing bushes and the like. Engine oil for barrel/piston.
