Twice I've had to replace my low fuel bulb on my 2012 C5 EFI Classic(stranded only once in 1600 mi.) The same bulb is common in my 2002 iron barrel instrument display. The 2nd time, I stuffed the socket with dielectric grease before installing the bulb & so far it's lasted longer than each bulb before it, there may be something to this dielectric grease thing. Ha!

I use dielectric grease every time I have the opportunity to pull a connector apart and stuff a load into it. Good stuff.
