Hi all new to the forum and bullet owning, out of interest what tools and sizes etc do carry when riding.

This tool box looks about the right size to carry them:-

It would vary some what depending what year and model of bike plus what you are prepared and capable of attempting at the road side, for instance if you can change an inner tube you will need tools to get the wheel off and tyre levers if you have punctures repaired at a dealers you will need to rely on a break down service, perhaps tailor you tool kit to match spares parts you may carry such as a spark plug, you may also consider how far and were you intend going, I don't think there is a one size fits all answer to this get to know the bike build a kit up as you go you will soon end up like me with various bits stuffed in all sorts of places on the bike

there is alsi an 11/16 Whitworth spanner for rear axel, and throttle, clutch and brake cables in the pannier boxes



Oh, and oil, a funnel, cable straps, spare nuts and locking washers.



And a first aid kit for damaged fingers!

I'm with Scaly.. also, get some of that easy puncture repair kit goop that you can squirt into the tyre valve and a small pump.

I found this one at a dealer. It isn't big and easily mounts in its holder on the front of the frame.. It may be easy enough to repair a puncture, but you still have to get air back into the tube.

Hi everyone thanks for all replies my bullet is a 2002 500 deluxe (has Crome & red tank & chrome mudguards and kick start only) I believe, hopefully have attached a photo, if anyone knows what model I would appreciate it

Yes, it is a 500 Deluxe, fitted with a solo seat and different exhaust which both suit it well. A fine looking example.

Can you or anyone identify the seat? Is it Mr H's scrambles seat 91401 p109 of current catalogue. Rear light Sparto tail lamp 92667 p83? Neither would suit my black 350 but always thinking ahead...
