I am looking for a sidecar light, preferably the single unit which has a clear/white lens facing forward and a red lens facing to the rear for mounting on the top of a sidecar mudguard. They were made but seem to have disappeared now. Anyone any suggestions as to where I could buy one. Thanks in anticipation.

You may find something of use here not side car specific but may be ok. http://www.trailertek.com/acatalog/Fron ... ights.html

Sudden thought. That type of mudguard light may not of itself be construction and use compliant these days. Unless both bike and sidecar are old enough.
(I have had to mod the lights on our two sidecars for compliance reasons.)

For safety's sake our riding buddies have put separate front & rear lights on their 1940s outfit

The type of light you are after are still available, you should be able to find them at any trailer dealer.

When Googling rubberlite lamps I found one supplier who also sells 12 core trailer flex, the ultimate for those DIY motorcycle wiring looms!
