Hi all,
Did 200 miles plus on sunday, had to switch to reserve for a few miles before found petrol station.
After I had filled up every time I tried to accelerate above 40 bike vibrated like it was going to fall apart, alright if kept under 45 mph . Thought was going to have to coax her home but after 10 miles or so it cleared.
Do you gents think I stirred up some crud in tank, cant find anything loose, and been alright since?????????

Sounds like a bit of crap got somewhere it shouldn't. Do you have an in-line filter? Could be worth fitting one.
Main thing is, it's now OK so stop worrying :-)

Yes Scalyback it was a BP garage,I have now drained fuel from tank and float bowl, but no sign of water I think I must have blown it thro, the vibrations were quite scary especially 100 miles from home
