535GT CON DENSO STARTER MOTOR

Hi all I have a new GTCON 535 and I think the DENSO starter outer case looks ugly I see that you can purchase a black cover for it but today I started to clean mine with a rag and autosol and I have a nice chrome shine appearing has anybody else polished this part up thanks
