Does anyone have a magneto puller for the EFI bike & possibly a gudgeon pin extractor they'd be willing to lend for a couple of pints or cash equivalent...? Or a neat trick of the trade for doing without ... ? I know the gudgeon pin isn't always a bugger, but I've not yet had experience of pulling out the magneto. I'm soon to embark on installing Mr H's 535 performance kit and trying to be prepared... (without lashing out even more dosh for tools I'll probably only use once).

[pedantic]Did you mean the incorrectly-named alternator rotor puller? [/pedantic] I have the Electra-X item which I believe will fit, as the Electra-x rotor is sold by our hosts as part of the EFI carb conversion kit, and - somewhere - a gudgeon pin extractor. Whereabouts are you? If you're local you're welcome to come and pick them up. A.

Thanks Adrian - yes, alternator. I'd just been on the phone to Hitchcocks asking what special tools I'd need for the job and that's what they told me...
I'm in S. Devon. If miles away I can arrange collection/delivery by Collect Plus or My Hermes and email you the postage label.
Cheers,
Bill
