You may remember commenting on the Boyer problems had with the 1971 Triumph Bonneville. First thanks for the advice help etc. All OK now and seems it was the HT leads or suppressor caps breaking down as running and starting OK. Sorry it took a while to get back but been replacing fork seals and also new AMALS. The uneven running was however the leads/caps. Now running with 6volt coils as opposed to 12volt 1971 Lucas originals as advised by Boyer. Cheers Hugh
