My Sixty 5 came with the S & B Pancake air filter which is described as washable in the Hitchcocks catalogue. Would anyone happen to know how to go about giving it a wash, is it a soap and water job or is there more to it ?

White filter - non cleanable throw away



red filter - cotton cleanable



A little care with warm soap and water. dry thoroughly. These come pre oiled for dusty conditions but you don't need to do that.



Check with S & B though, IF you can understand how there website works!

Many thanks. Mine turned out to be a grubby brown colour. I've taken the easy route and ordered a new one.
