I just noticed that our Hosts are selling these, item 151616394614 and 151616399570 on Ebay. Will we see something similar in the Accessory Catalogue soon?

Why on earth would any one with a countershaft gearbox want to fit a belt drive conversion?
Road works, ONE loose stone chip = broken belt and a workshop to fit a new belt (if there is one locally available).
Vs 5 -10 minutes to fit a new chain/masterlink?

I tend to agree about the belt drive.
The rear drum on my 350 works perfectly well anyway with little maintenance except simple adjustment..

The fact that these items appear on Ebay suggest to me that our hosts' have decided that it's not worth the bother of adding them to their range. I love the comment 'PRESUMABLY - YOU JUST LACE THIS HUB INTO YOUR SPOKES AND RIM AND FIT THE KIT - IN REALITY - IT IS PROBABLY GOING TO TAKE A FAIR BIT OF WORK TO MAKE IT ALL WORK.' (Actually, you could probably say the same thing about most Enfield parts......) Overall, I'd say these items were solutions looking for a problem.

Looks like they are for Left side brake lever bikes, with disc on right, opposite to my 5 speed left shift. Interestin idea though!

Most of my Redditch Enfields have the larger 7" rear brake which works very well and the ones with 6" brakes work ok too. These items caught my eye because I know our Hosts are constantly looking for parts to add to the Accessory Catalogue, I'm thinking they evaluated these and came to the same conclusion as the rest of us! Before you need a disc brake rear you need something up front that will cause you to need a disc brake rear and Enfields certainly don't fit the need

Wayne, I have seen a couple of Carberrys fitted with a rear disc but on a Bullet???? rear drum is more than adequate unless you are racing one
