Hi, I have still got a couple of 18mm Champions somewhere from my stationary engine days, will check and see if either of them is twin electrode. If that KLG in the picture is yours, don't forget you can take them apart to clean them!. Sadly, the Green Spark Plug Co. is out of stock for the M50 but they do list alternatives if no one here can oblige. A.

Great. thanks.

This plug came with the engine and after cleaning, it ran very well, but a friend has the engine now and found the plug runs his other lister well, so we need another M50, maybe a spare too.

here is the very same plug as it came out the engine in 2002.

Bosch and NGK make multiple electrode spark plugs for use in rotary engines. Some with up to four electrodes.

Did that, it took me to the green spark plug company, who said out of stock! NAY!

(AND their spark plugs weren't green, at least the lodge ones were pink.)

If it is just a case of running the engine until you can get a KLG M50 , there are two alternatives that are available.
It was a very common type of spark plug.
Champion D16 seem to be widely available.
Replacement spark plugs for klg M50:
Champion D16
NGK AB6
NGK stk 2910

I would also point out "out of stock" means just that, it does not mean discontinued. It means the manufacturer, needs to make an economic sized batch when a machine becomes available to make the bodies.
