hi, i have a 2005 classic bullet 535. 35000 ks. my last ride ,around the decompressor i noticed a lot of black fluid all over the engine fins , and valve it self. it was suggested that the fluid was unburnt petrol that had escaped thru the leaking decompressor. when i pulled it out ,it had a lot of carbon on the end of the valve. i had thought of blanking off the hole, but have been told thats not a good idea. so i suppose the remedy is a new decompressor.
