..
I have always been 'afraid'of opening and rebuilding gearboxes.. and yes there's a cause of this..
ehm, i am ready to order the gear set which reduces the gap between 3rd and 4th gear.. so i get some sprockets..
Does anyone know which sprocket goes where???

Presumably you are ordering from Hitchcocks, so I would assume they will come with instructions?

If you only want to change the gears and not fit the sealed bearings, once you have the gearbox end cover off the first two gears that you see (one on each shaft)are the ones you need to change. You can't get them wrong .with a bit off luck they will pull off with out to much trouble.

You need a press to remove and refit the high gear pinion and you will probably have to grind a bit off the kick start shaft so it will fit inside the new layshaft gear which is slightly smaller in diameter

its nr 16 and nr 19 that you’l need to chance out.
don’t loose the washer that goes between the starter spindel and nr 19.
heat is your friend in this case.
with heat applied they slide of an on withe ease.
these and the trials variant, come without any explanation.
read up on the technical notes section from our host before you start.

You don't get instructions but it's pretty obvious which is which.
My experience here
