Just to advise I have nothing to report in terms of technical problems with my 2014 Woodsman EFI, which goes like a train and is a delight to ride, having taken me to the far ends of Scotland and more without trouble. It returns 80mpg, is solid and sure footed and a much better touring bike for single track or narrow roads than any teutonic or hinckley gargantuan. Nothing either to report with the 2008 last of the classic iron barrelled 500s with the convenience of electric start and the pleasure of a proper kick start that works first time every time. And with a Mk1 concentric with bellmouth and open pipe the bike hammers along at 53 without missing a beat and the much derided four speed box shifts smoothly and reliably. Surely something must be wrong? OK the battery on the EFI was flat and the throttle cable on the classic is sticky but apart from that happy new year and may your positivity about Enfields overide any negativity about their failings for they are really wonderful bikes. Well, almost as good as a Hinckley bonnie.

Sofi, nothing wrong with a 4 speed Albion, never hear them to be much derided, tough old box, that is what it is
