Hi All
I have a Continental GT that I need the engine rebuilding. I have been let down by 2 people who promised to do it for me. I have a Crusader engine that I want to transfer some of the internals in ie 4 speed gearbox into the GT crankcases to retain the GT engine numbers. Can anyone recommend someone in the Shropshire - Cheshire area. I have new bearings, valve guides, valves and gasket set etc for the rebuild and will supply everything else and beer tokens for the work.

Hello Ian H ------ welcome and sorry to see you've been let down--- twice !! I'm in Telford, have a general engineering workshop and would be happy to help out in most areas---but don't have any actual "hands-on" with the 250 models. However I can reccomend the following local contacts }------- a) SIDS WHEELS-- http://www.misterwhat.co.uk/company/238 ... fford----b) BRADBURY ENGINEERING----http://www.google.co.uk/search?aq=f&sou ... ering----- and c) TELFORD HEAD TECHNIQUES--http://www.yell.com/s/engine+reconditio ... d.html---- I use these on a regular basis and can personally recommend them. For Classic Engine pistons etc in Shrewsbury try F.W.THORNTON --- http://www.fwthornton.co.uk/----. That should get you going---in more ways than one ??
