I have nearly lost the will to live trying to find out how many and the EXACT location of the engine oil drain plugs on a Bullet Electra X.
Can anyone help please. Diagram or photo if possible.
Following the oil change instructions TO THE LETTER plus the how to check the oil level TO THE LETTER, (Instructions stapled to manual.) Putting the correct amount of oil in 2.25 litre resulted in a precisely 700cc over fill. Only found out after a 10 miles run on the machine.
It is VERY obvious that 700cc of oil never drained out.
I also have the large workshop manual on the subject which does not help.
(One good emergent property of the over fill, it made a loose connection and a split hose on the PAV system obvious.)

Should be three, front two have gauze filters on. The back one is the main drain for the oil "tank".

The overfill will be because there is quite a lot of oil left in the timing chest unless you drained it.
Best thing to do with the PAV is to bin it.

What I need is the precise location of the drain plugs. (It was not me who changed the oil a mechanic who had no problems last year did. )
I cannot find any picture or diagram showing where they are located.)

I think the answer is that one of us takes a picture of the underside and marks the drain plugs with arrows?

If somebody sends a pic with explanation, I can put arrows and text on it.

Forgot... Thanks to our hosts for the pic, seems it is a classic bullet, and I have no idea if the sump on an electra X is the same or not
