No idea how many tanks I have welded up, but one day I did 8 of them, the reason they crack is because people force the lugs by putting the head steady on the outside and forcing the lug inside, I set the lugs at 45mm apart, that allows the lugs to slip over the frame easily and the headsteady slips up easily inside, no more tension and no more broken lugs
