Hi, every one just a quickie it must be a year or so,since i ran the bike. thought i would give the bike a run cannot get it to start checked the timing again still wont start any thoughts would be most helpful.

I have to do this every spring on the lawn mower. Always the pilot jet gunked with gel/varnish..

Depending on which type of carb you have you may be able to remove the float bowl and jets with the carb in situ..

Clean and blow through, then place a container under and open the fuel tap, checking for good flow of petrol without water in evidence..

Reassemble and check for spark as per Mark.. Tip, do not alter any settings, carb or ignition timing until after you've got the motor to run..

Check, clean the points faces if spark not evident.. cheers gwilly
