GT resurrection fails!

One of my neighbours was telling me about the Continental GT he bought new from Arthur Mayle's in Bletchley when he was a youth. I said, I've got one of those, want a go? to which he said yes please! It's never given any trouble since I built it and it goes really well. So I started it up just now and apart from the wet sumping smoke which cleared quite quickly all seemed well until I turned on the lights. Horrible clonking from the off side, I think the alternator rotor has come loose! Bum!

Hi Mark. Hope it went back on without damaging the stator. The size of the disaster is always proportional to the size of the audience. So its a good job there was only your neighbour....
The 350 is making progres. i may even have the crankcases together by next week. :)
