Anyone fitted this seat to their Electra X? Interested in how comfortable it is (or not) and how it actually fits?

I fitted it to my 1995 classic 500 export and found the brackets make it a tad tall so I filed them to a half inch above the mudguard , it's very soft and great for long trips , I never get saddle sore anymore , get one as it's worth it .

I also have one fitted to my 2003 Bullet 500 ES. I have tried the single saddle which is uncomfortable because of the bar under the padding at the rear. I have also tried the large American style leather pan saddle, this is comfy but on anything but a billiard table smooth road bottoms out on the rear mudgaurd.I find the scrambles seat the best of all and you can still use the mudguard mounted rack if you wish.

Hi Edward, this does sound like the option for me as I like the single seat/rack look. Have to concur that the single saddle was most uncomfortable, but kudos to anyone riding with one! Regarding the American saddle, I live in the Fens and we do not do billiard smooth - more like a rollercoaster, with extra subsidence thrown in. I would probably destroy the rear mudguard on the first outing!
