Dear All,

At last got the Connie running today, went out for my first test ride. All seemed well but after half mile or so of blipping round my road, bike started to vibrate badly anything past low revs. Didn't dare ride it any further and came straight home. No untoward noises. Could you kind chaps help me troubleshoot? Where should i look first...dreading an engine stripdown as i just dont have the time!!!! Thanks in advance, richard.

No he means the alternator rotor which will be inside the primary case on the end of the crank shaft. Head steady check first though.

Ah yes Norm,I forgot about that one first time the rubber sleeve moved on my SM and the clip contacted the frame I thought the engine was about to self destruct. :-)
