As far as I know 3.25 is the correct front size tyre. And 3.50 the correct rear unless you have changed the rims.

Paul M H: Are you hitting 'Refresh' after posting, by any chance? To see your post? If so, I think that is what might be causing the double post. I haven't tried it here, but on another forum I use that always happens.

No I made a slight error on first post so had to repost it. I just put 3.25 instead of 19 X 3.25 pity there is no edit.

I think there is confusion because the Electra X was fitted as standard with metric tyres, 100/90 X 19 rear and 90/90 X 19 front. The 3.25 inch front and 3.5 inch rear are inch equivalents although the front will be 1/4 inch narrower and rear nearly 1/2 inch. If that doesn't matter then they will fit fine.

I don’t want to cause you unnecessary alarm, sa, but have you checked the date stamp on your ‘new’ tyres? I tried to buy Roadrunners a couple of years back and was told they were no longer in production and that the Roadrider was the replacement cover. Avon only list the Roadrunner on their web site
http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcycle. I hate to think that you have bought tyres already a couple of years old, if the MoT regs change as they threatened a while back that any tyre over 5 (or was it 8 ?) years old would be a failure it could affect your wallet badly.
