Another one for Paul Bullet Whisperer:o)

Hi Paul

I've taken on board all of your pointers for tuning my 350.

I will be fitting a set of European Mains....
What's your feeling on the Conrod and Big End set up on the std Indian bikes?

Do you think its up to the hammering of a 10:1 comp set up?

It all seems in good order to me with no perceptible up and down movement. Engine has covered about 11,000 Miles

I know the older 500s have been known top let go

Cheers

Tom

Hi Tom, my own Indian 350 is running at around 10:1 compression, with my own porting work and cams. It has an alloy barrel which I shortened and so far all the standard parts are holding up fine. There is far less strain and stress on a 350 bottom end, when compared with a 500, so it doesn't worry me that the standard bottom end components are in there still. regards, Paul.
