I’m wondering if anyone can give me some pointers please.

When I collected my bike from service on Saturday [500 Bullet 2002 model], I decided to ride with the headlight on. Part way through the journey the headlight stopped working.

I have had a look and the bulb seems ok, as I have run a continuity test across the terminals and I can’t see that the filament has broken. The rear light does not work either, so I think there must be more to this problem. Interestingly the pilot lights still work and also the stop light is ok.

I’m wondering if there is a hidden fuse or something to check.

Any help gratefully received.

On my yr 2007 500 Bullet I eventually traced a hidden- under the back seat- extra fuse, affecting lights, which wasn't on my yr 2000 bike. Sorry I don't know exactly which year this came in but worth a look. I ended up relocating it next to the other one ion the LH toolbox.
