I live in Birmingham, Smethwick area.. Is there A Enfield Enthusiast who can help me please.. Going from the Previous answers, I would be obliged if someone can help me out, I need help with some Wiring and refitting of Break shoes etc. As told earlier the MOT failed on these few items.. I am just wary of opening it all up myself and making a Mess of things.
I definitely need new break shoes for the back and a few settings done.. as I saw that when I was riding the bike for an MOT The current Needle would just Drop out and then come on again ..

There is no starting problem.. and the bike on idle keeps running .. my email is [email protected] if anyone can HELPppppppppppppppp please ...

I enquired from the Shop and they are quoting 5 hours labour to get the back indicators wiring done.. now that is a lot of money if we can do it ourself.. I think or am I wrong in thinking that..

Hi Bik, most of us on here are to far away to help but if you could post some pictures and a description of what you are trying to do I'm sure you will get plenty of responses.

Bik I'll try and help, firstly if they think the rear wiring needs doing, that may be the source
of the problem with the amp meter too.The rear wiring is notorious for shorting out as it can
wear on the tyre and mudguard.Problem is easily sorted as the rear wiring is a separate harness
that plugs in to the main harness. So simply remove the rear wheel(you will have to do that to do the
brakes anyway)and remove the rear harness and replace.Let us know how that goes,of cource that assumes
you're talking about an indian Bullet which you haven't mentioned.

Bik - I would ignore the comment about 'for free'. The vast majority of people come on to this site looking for information, advice and guidance. In return some of them make the effort to post their experiences and help out others. It is how the site works. Equally, most people in the Enfield scene will willingly give practical hands-on help to a fellow Enfield owner living locally, that is my experience anyway. Good luck with the bike, hope you enjoy.
