I painted the inside of a set of 1956 Super Meteor cases today and I can't remember if they were originally painted inside the cam tunnels. Does anybody know or if it is needed in there? I want to assemble this tomorrow so I guess the real answer is just paint it anyway and be done with it.

Norm,I've never seen the inside of the cam tunnels painted, just the main crank chamber and oiltank.
