I have a broken rear mount on ny fuel tank , so was thinking of replacing it with one of the large capacity one's on that well known auction site. Was wondering if anyone has fitted one and if so whats it like.

The finish on those big tanks is pretty awful - depends how fussy you are. The broken mounting isn't a disaster, the other one will hold the tank OK. Even if both go you can arrange a foam "saddle" over the top tube for the tank to sit on. As long as it's not leaking it should be OK. Too late to do it now but it's worth checking that those rear mountings aren't stressed by spacing them accurately.
