Hi Folks

I've picked up a cheap tank which I think comes from a Bullet Sixty-5 for using on my Super Meteor while the original tank gets refurbished. The Bullet tank is fitted with a Karcoma tap and doesn't look very period appropriate for the SM. Has anyone got any experience in replacing this type of tap with one of a more classic appearance? The tank looks like it has an adaptor already fitted that I'd like to remove but don't want to butcher it if it isn't removable. Our hosts haven't been able to advise on this, so I'm open to suggestions.

Kevin I have seen one like that, looks like a bush but it isn't removable

I took a chance and cut the threaded spigot off, drilled and tapped the boss 1/4 BSP, cleaned out the swarf and job's a good-un. Traditional push-pull tap now fitted - happy days!
