Hi again guys , I was wondering if anyone has come across a schematic that shows the reassembly of the forks on a model g , I am ready to put the forks back on my bike and I figured it would help tremendously if I had a guide to work from or a drawing , just to make sure I get all the parts and in the right place, as usual thank you very much for your time , and have a great night

Thank you very much Exile, its just strange that there is nothing like a schematic that shows how the forks go together, i would have thought someone would have done it before, anyway thank you very much for all your trouble.
Cheers

Was just thumbing through a book (Royal Enfield The Postwar Models) By Roy Bacon.. still in print and sold by our host among others..

Page 16 model G/J Fork fitted since 1945, well i'll be darned.. Not much of an illustration but a good book to have on the shelf.. Perhaps you could buy one...

Hi SAboy, send an email to [email protected] and I will reply with three scanned pages from the RE workshop manual for the G and J of that era. Cheers, Brian
