Hi lads,remember I asked about the starter sprag,ive taken it all out and all seems ok.Could you tell me.I put the cone airfilter which I had on the triumph to give it a try,starts and runs ok but wouldent pull the skin of a rice pudding , I never thought it would make that much difference !!.mind how you go,val

If you had the original filter on they are quite restrictive. The cone will probably be much freer and you will be running quite lean. You will need to re-jet or at least lift the needle.

Basic lesson here, never do 2 things at once, one alteration, modification at a time, put the original filter back on and see if the new filter is the problem

As Norm says: append that with, don`t change things that are not broken. You cause worry, spend money and make unnecessary work for yourself when you could be out riding.
