Hi All. My '59 Connie is almost ready to go after rebuild. It has a pushrod clutch and the gearbox has a dipstick in the top which says I should fill with SAE40 oil. There's no grease inside so should I follow the instructions on the top of the dipstick or the instructions in the manual (ie grease & engine oil)? Thanks Stephen

Neither, use EP90. Modern is better in this case. I use it in all my Enfields.
