hi all iv recently started to rebuild a 1991 350 bullet( indian) now because the bike had no wiring at all i thought the best thing to do would be to contact our host and buy a harness and minda bar kits and start all over Now i need a wiring diagram to fit it any one have such a thing???? The harness part no is 140845 in the catalog any help would be good as its nearly time the sun arrives ?? and iv spent all winter in the shed now i want to ride it thanks in addvance

hi scratch,my 1990 bullet uses the 4 wire alternator loom with minda controls,ignition switch in casquette,all parts source from india all working well,although mr h will supply all these bits cheers paul

Hi paul (grunda 12)you say yours runs 4 wire from the alternator the loom Mr H has sent me has red wire as earth at least i think its earth cos its got the large washer type conecters on the red wire But iv only got two wires comeing from the alternator white/green--yellow/green None of the diagrams in the workshop manual match this loom Its allso had a power box fitted at some time so no rec/reg iv no idear how this will wire in Im sorry if im being dence hear but iv spent a few bob on buying minda controles clocks ect and i am now lost with it The part No of the loom Mr H sent me is 140845 dose anyone suggest that it should have been part No143610 because this No is allso on the box but has been crossd out Any help with this please befor i go and buy a honda!!!!!Thanks ian

Ian,
You are going to need a Honda. Problem is the wiring looms never match and you are going to have to do mods to it and it is going to be painfull and check and test every inch of the way I'm afraid

hi scratch, i got my loom from india,along with all the minda switches ,i had the 4 wire alternator in my spares ,i did have all the 1990 loom etc but that and the alternator was shot,when the loom and minda gear came all the wiring matched up to what i have on my 2004 bullet as the switches and loom were exactly the same,i fear none of this is going to help you, as your going to have a ignition switch in the tool box so as norm says you are going to have to alter things to suit all the best paul.

ok so its the hard road a!!! Thanks to all for your input im now off to buy a test meter and a box of fuses a few tins of painkiller then its into the shed see you all soon Ian
