Mikcarb Needle Jet

Has anyone any thoughts on why the needle jet won't drop out of the carb body (even with a little light persuasion)?

Hi Count Jonny,Give the jet a good hard tap,it shoud just fall out,

You are trying to push the needle jet out upwards from the bottom, after removing the main jet? I screw in a 5mm screw and tap that so as not to damage the thread.
