I'm looking for owners who are using the breather kit from our host. How much oil makes it out of the ducknbill? I really want a setup that vents properly, yet stops the oil spooge (without having to resort to a catch can) All feedback greatly appreciated!

Not sure about oil coming out, but mine seems to have a capillary action with rain getting sucked into the oil filling pipe.
Now that I am aware of it, it is ok, but was so puzzled as to why I got white stuff in my oil filler when it rained and the cap did not leak!
Found out when I gave the breather tube a squeeze and a little water came out the duck bill end!

I've found it to be very effective over several years and thousands of miles on my 612 cc engine. Be aware you will need a strong pair of curved grips to unscrew the original filler neck.

I've had one on my 1996 Classic for ~10000kms and nary a problem and no evident oil leaks - the end of teh duckbill was always pretty-well dry. A good bit of kit IMO. But I could never be sure of the best way to route the pipes to and from it - eventuslly I split the pipe from crankcase-to-breather stub and added a 10mm garden sprinkler elbow piece and took the hose far above the distributor. Although I had no problem with excess oil coming out the duckbill I was persuaded, against my better judgement, to purchase & fit this modification. Net reult was a dry chain and mayo in the extended filler, the only minor positive was easier topping up/ oilchange refilling. Reverted to duckbill after a while. Result - happiness, lubed chain & no mayo in the filler neck.
The not inexpensive modification now sits on my shelf as a reminder that I broke my own rule about mending something that was not broken.
