For quite some time I've seen and followed topics which lead me to wonder if some of us actually own a service manual and if so have we actually read it.
Hitchcocks have a range of service manuals for most Royal Enfields. And for the Madras models the Pete Snidal CD is very good. I have the Enfield India workshop manual and the much better Pete Snidal CD
There is also an A4 sized Service Guide listed. I have not seen a copy so cannot comment but knowing Hitchcock it could well be good.

Ive got both copy's as well the Enfield Workshop Manual and Sindel manual which I have scanned them both into my computer as PDFs along with all the Technical notes on this site and Ive loaded them onto a USB stick as well so I can take them with me. Or print out pages I require that way it don't matter if they get greasy in the shed.

You are well organised and to be congratulated. Being able to print sheets is one of the good things with a CD. Likewise I have a collection of original BSA Service Sheets, I was getting sheets photocopied at a friendly local business until I got a CD with most every thing on them. Much easier.
