Hi again ,
I was wondering if anybody knows what the color scheme was on a 1949 model G , i am trying to restore it back to as close as possible and I need to know what the colors were , and if maybe there was more than one scheme , thank you in advance .

My 1950 model G is all black. I have a photo of my friends father and brother (both now deceased) on a 1949 model G taken back in the early 50's. The frame tool boxes, mudguards etc are all black. The tank is silver with some coach lines. Unfortunately I can't see the colours of the lines because it's a black and white photo. On the back of the photo it has written in pencil, 1949 royal Enfield. It's definitely a G not a Bullet. Hope this helps. Phil
