Last time I was really involved with engines, it was a four stroke 1924 lister engine.
I have an EFI woodsman with it’s own version exhaust system from Watsonian, and it seems to work very well, but I keep reading posts about PAV valves, oxygen sensors and that electronic control system that makes the engine control unit work a bit better.
Is it worth me blanking PAV, removing ‘Larry the lamb’ and fitting piggy back control, or should I be thankful for what seems like a powerful EFI and leave well alone?
Your thoughts and experience will be gratefully received, thanks,
Simon
P.S. If you get something called itube studio 4.8.0.1 for google chrome, your "Add topic" button disappears. Great fun, NOT! I shall be dumping it now.

ok, overwhelming advice is to leave it alone.
I shall go with the majority, as the bike seems to run quite well as it is, and we are talking sub zero temperature here in France and Switzerland at the moment.
Thanks to all who replied!

Having no experience with them, I would go back to my usual default position:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Oh Exile !
That one always makes me smile! I do understand the idea behind it, but my mate Pete always said "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" until the day his bike ground to a halt through lack of maintenance,
about a week before that, his car had ran out of oil and seized up too!
It still makes me laugh, thinking about it now!

Scaly.. mate. I like to think there is a little difference between maintenence and rebuilding..!! Of course, I may be slightly deluded due to vapour inhalation. I've had the carburettor in bits today....
Oh, what joy...
