Connie front brake springs

Hi All. Wasn't paying sufficient attention when I stripped the front brakes on my '59 Connie and discovered too late that there are two different spring lengths.... I'm guessing the longer springs go at the end of the shoes nearest the actuating cam - is that correct? Thanks Stephen
