Hi guys,
Hello to you all.
Im new to working on enfields, and loving it. Apart from my clutch.
I have a 1990 Indian Bullet 500cc 4 speed.
have got a new clutch assembly from hitchcocks, and installed, but the clutch will not stop the rear wheel spinning when pulled in. Have adjusted the worm gear and also the cable, but to no avail. I made sure the bearing was in the clutch pushrod assembly.
I also soaked the plates in ATF prior to assembly, is that the correct thing to do?
On the gear shaft, there was a washer behind the clutch hub assembly, so I put it back on, but the new clutch hub does not have a space for the washer at the back like the original?
Feeling a bit lost, any help would be appreciated.
